Rare quality crafted Japanese Epiphone Les Paul Standard Tobacco Sunburst. Built in 1999 at the legendary FujiGen plant in Japan. Not to be confused with the cheap mass-produced Korean/Chinese/whatever Epiphones you see in pretty much every guitar store across the UK.
This Epi was built to a very high standard at FujiGen, Japan. It has the Japanese Gibson open book headstock, long neck tenon, 59 profile neck, and a really nice dark Tobacco Sunburst vintage teardrop maple top. Good weight at 4.4kg. No issues structurally or electrically. Neck dead straight, truss rod fine.
Plenty of life left in the frets. No breaks or repairs etc, just a good vintage feel. In clean condition with some scratches and small bumps over the body, the most obvious being on the front at the bottom. All original with no mods. Ill let the pics tell the rest of the story. It is complete with a Japanese gig-bag. A rare Japanese FujiGen built Epiphone Les Paul. S, Canada, Australia, Europe and of course the UK.
