No keyboard, 2U rack size. Originally developed as a dedicated sound source for AKAI's WindSynth (EWI), but it has MIDI input so it can be controlled from WX or general keyboard. It is compatible with breath control, and can be used without any special modifications to the tone settings. From an overall perspective of sound quality, functionality, and price, this is a strong candidate for an analog sound source for wind synthesizers.

So-called "analog synthesizer" sound, with a fat sound that goes well from high to low tones. The EWI series has a proven track record among professional musicians. All preset tones are optimized for breath control and can be played with the default settings. Tone changes are possible with breath and bends.

50 original tones can be stored in the main unit. The unit has a function to apply a filter (VCF, VCA) to an external audio signal and output it.

This filter can be breath controlled, so even sound sources that do not have breath control can be controlled in volume and timbre with the breath. We carefully check the condition of all of our items before we list it for sale and also before we dispatch it to you.
