EWI (Electoronic Wind Elements) Series The latest model "EWI USB" is a wind controller that can be used simply by connecting it to a PC with a USB cable. Garritan sound player "ARIA (Aria)" supplied with the product is prepared in advance various programs such as brass / woodwind using high quality samples.

In addition to the conventional EWI / clarinet fingering mode, trumpet compliant EVI mode, and saxophone fingering mode, these sounds can be played by selecting the oboe and flute fingering modes (switching from ARIA). ARIA can also be used as a plug-in instrument (VSTi, AU, RTAS) as well as stand-alone use. Furthermore, dynamic control such as software sound source is also possible by assigning MIDI control change to each operation part of EWI USB. We can play immediately just to connect EWI USB and your computer with USB cable and install attached software "ARIA". With touch sense key, we can perform quick performance that mechanical key can not realize.

We are equipped with touch plate which can easily obtain pitch bend effect, octave roller which can shift over the range of 5 octaves. It carries various fingering modes. We operate with USB bus power (power supply via USB cable). The bundled DVD-ROM comes with an installer of software sound source "ARIA" optimized for EWI USB.
